Camera, Mobile Phones, and Recording Devices Policy for Just Kids Day Care
- Introduction
This policy establishes guidelines for the use of cameras, mobile phones, and recording devices at Just Kids Day Care. It aims to protect the privacy and safety of the children in our care, while still allowing for the documentation of their play, learning, and development.
- Mobile Phone Usage
a. Parents and visitors must refrain from using mobile phones within the premises of Just Kids Day Care. If a parent or visitor is seen using a mobile phone or receiving a call, they must be asked to either end the call or leave the premises.
b. Visitors must sign in at the nursery and show their ID.
- Consent for Photographs and Recordings
a. Upon registration at Just Kids Day Care, parents are asked for consent to take photographs and video recordings of their child for various purposes, including the child’s learning journey, display materials, promotional materials, security purposes, and use on the nursery’s website or social media.
b. Parents are informed that their child may appear in photographs with other children and that these images may be used in other children’s learning journeys.
c. If a parent does not consent to one or more of the specified uses, Just Kids Day Care will respect their wishes and find alternative methods to document their child’s play and learning.
